The Art of Lockout Sharing
In World of Warcraft, lockout sharing is a technique used primarily by mount and transmog collectors to skip most of a raid and jump straight to a specific boss (usually the final one) on multiple characters. Instead of clearing the entire raid on 10 different characters, you clear it once on a "save" character and "share" that progress with your other characters.
How to Use My Lockouts
- Go to the instance entrance.
- Whisper the host for an invite.
- DM Zse-Bronzebeard (A) "QUEEN"
- sparklepony#11362 for horde invites, please just tell me who you are and how you found me!
- Follow the in-game prompts in party chat.
Set Up Your Own Lockout Sharing Alt

Create a dedicated alt whose only job is to hold raid and dungeon lockouts.

Clear selected raid up to the boss that you want to farm.

Collect as many lockouts as you'd like to.

Set up your alt with the addon to the right.

Start sharing!
